Mithuna raasi natchathirangal, the nakshatras of Mithuna, are three. Mrigashira (Tamil Mirugasirisham), padas 3 and 4, is ruled by Kuja (Mars), a searching star. Ardra (Tamil Thiruvathirai, Telugu Arudra), all four padas, is ruled by Rahu. It adds intensity to the mind. Punarvasu (Tamil Punarpoosam), padas 1 to 3, is ruled by Guru, the same graha that rules the 7th.
