A written, personalized reading in the jyotishya tradition, delivered as a PDF, offered for reflection and planning. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and no statement in it is a guarantee of any outcome. A Muhurtam is a written election of time for an event you name, delivered the same way.

Your reading begins the moment you submit it. It is written for one person, from one birth minute, and a refund is made when no reading is ever produced. • If your reading never arrives, we send it again — as many times as it takes, and to a different address if you prefer. Check your spam or junk folder first; that is where it usually is. A reading that reached your inbox has been delivered, whether or not it was read, filed or deleted, and we will happily send you another copy.
• If we never produce your reading, you are refunded in full — if we take your order and no reading is ever written.
• Palm add-on: if your photographs cannot support a reading after two guided attempts, that add-on alone is refunded.
• For a delivered reading, write to us: a resend is immediate and free, and a chargeback is answered with the delivery record.
• If you are buying from the UK or the EU: a distance purchase normally carries a fourteen-day right to cancel. Digital content delivered immediately is exempt from it where you ask for the work to begin at once and accept that you give that right up. That is exactly what you confirm on the payment page before a card is taken, and it is why your reading starts the moment you submit it.

Every reading includes one free correction, for thirty days after delivery. It exists for a detail you would like updated — a birth time you have since checked against a certificate, the spelling of a name, a passage you would like phrased more clearly. Send the detail and the reading is rebuilt from it and sent again.

Because it is a correction and not a second reading, it stays with the same person:

• The birth time may be corrected freely — this is the detail families most often remember differently, and it is the one that moves a chart most.
• The birth date may move by up to one day, which covers a birth near midnight and a calendar mix-up.
• The birth place may be corrected to another spot in the same city or district.
• The name and spelling may be corrected to the same person's name.
• A different date, a different city, or a different person is a different chart, and a different chart is a new reading at its own price — not a correction. The work is the same work whether the name on it is yours or your cousin's.
• One correction per reading. Your original details are kept exactly as you submitted them, so there is never a question about what changed.
• Moving up is different: if you order a fuller reading for the same chart, what you already paid comes off the price. The credit arrives with your reading, as a code that is yours alone, and it stands for thirty days — the same window as your correction. One code applies to an order, so use whichever saves you more.

• We collect only your name, email, birth date/time/place, your questions, and palm photographs if you order that reading. No phone number, and nothing we do not need to write your reading.
• Palm photographs are held in private storage that no one else can open, are never shown to anyone else, and are deleted within 30 days of your reading being delivered — ask sooner and we delete them the same day.
• Payments run through Stripe, which holds your card details.
• We count visits to run the site — page, country, coarse device type, referring domain, campaign tag — against a random id that lives only for your browser session. No name, no email, no IP address, no birth details, and it stays in our own Cloudflare account.
• The home page’s line for today is worked out for the town Cloudflare places your connection in, or the town you choose there. It is used for that line and is not stored.
• Our pages carry Meta's advertising pixel, which tells Meta that a page was viewed or a reading ordered, so our ads reach people likely to want one. On an order, Meta also receives the amount and your email in hashed form, to match the order to the ad. Birth details and questions are never sent.
• The birthplace box looks up the town or postal code you type with public place-name services (Open-Meteo, Zippopotam.us and India Post's PIN lookup). Only what you type there is sent.
• Your data stays with Jatakapatra.
• Orders that are never paid or never completed are erased after 30 days.
• Ask us to forget you and we will. Write to support@jatakapatra.com from the address you ordered with, with the word DELETE and your reference. Within three working days we erase your birth details, your questions, your photographs and your contact record, and reply to confirm what was removed. Keep your PDF — it is yours, and after this we no longer hold a copy of the details behind it. Stripe keeps its own payment record, which the law requires of them and we cannot reach.

• Purchasers must be 18 or older; a reading for a child is bought by a parent and addressed to the parent.
• One Darshanam — the free five-week reading — per person, ever.
• Your reading is yours — share it with family; republishing or reselling is not permitted.
• We cap readings each week to protect the standard.
